So, beating #2 Penn State, on the road, giving PSU their first loss of the season, A PSU team that beat teams ranked #4, #8, #18, #16 teams before we played them, lost to the #16, and #15 teams, after we beat them, before shutting out #18 Texas A&M in their bowl and finishing the season at #11 in the AP poll (and yes, they did play 7 ranked teams that season, going 5-2) was not their best win that season?Plus in Masons two best seasons he avoided Michigan and Michigan State in 99 and avoided Purdue and Ohio State in 03. The bowl game in 03 was his best win
Beating unranked Oregon (who was a very good team having knocked off #3 Michigan) but was 1-1 in ranked games (losing to Washington State the week after beating Michigan) was a better win? (it was a good win, I was there).
