Or it could have been that we were 1-9 without a big ten win before we played Illinois.

And we beat Iowa after getting smacked by them last year. We were what 2-8 in the last ten games against Iowa? I would celebrate if I won a big rivalry game too.

I've only been a fan since my freshman year (2004) and I've experienced more than a few devastating chokes. I have to hear about that god damn blocked punt any time I'm around my friends from home. I mean we do own the record for biggest choke job in a bowl game.
