Oh yeah- and average size and white.
He plays lock down defense and is usually the smartest guy on the court.
Stats don't always tell the whole story. Craft is as true of a PG as you will find in the college game. Look at Rubio's Spain / Olympic numbers, never that impressive, but everyone wants him on their team.
Don't let minngg see this...Not as good as Al Nolen.
While I admire Craft's game quite a bit, particularly on the defensive end, it sounds like he is fulfilling the Gerry McNamara role for TV audiences-short, plucky white guard who contributes mightily for a national program. When McNamara was a freshman with Carmelo, I began admiring his game a lot; by the time he was a senior, I was quite tired of the McNamara focus every time Syracuse was on TV/discussed.
With his classmate Sullinger likely gone after the season, I'd get prepared for a heaping dose of Craft over the next two years.
Because he's a frickin' stud. Anyone who doesn't appreciate or understand the value he brings to OSU when he's on the court has no clue. They are a completely different team when he's not on the court. The Buckeyes weren't winning that game if Syracuse forced it into OT.

Part of the appeal is also the looks. Young, innocent looking with rosy cheeks but he just wants to destroy the guy he's guarding.
Ask Chris Kramer.
