Who's the next Coach Cignetti?

Nobody, at least not in rhe next 25 yrs. What he is doing is nearly impossible.
Im not sure that's entirely true, not only is he a great coach he understands what its going to take to win. When he signed his contract with IU one of the stipulations was that they make a substantial financial commitment to the football program.

Someone that can bring four or five players from their previous school that can become all conference at their new school. Add a soft schedule and a competent QB and you’ll hit the ground running.

You need an alumni with tons of money, like Mark Cuban, and willing to donate to NIL. Not every school has that. MN, Bucky and Iowa, haven't found that person.

Whoever gets hired at a school that has a Mark Cuban type alum that donates $20,000,000+ when you take the job
Cuban has been quoted that he didn’t have a meeting with IU/Cig until Dec. of ‘24. That’s after they qualified for the CFP, or after they lost out. Before that he had only donated to the club rugby team athletic’s wise.
