Offense:

This is easy!

Johnson will be replaced by Autman-Bell
Smith will be replaced by Mo Ibrahim

Done! (although I am curious as to who we see backing-up Mo and who will be our third and fourth receivers.) Will someone like True Thompson fight their way into PT?

Defense:
Winston DeLattiboudere - Esezi Otomewo
Sam Renner - Keonte Schad
Chris Williamson - Benny Sapp III?
Carter Coughlin - Boye Mafe
Thomas Barber - Mariano Sori-Marin
Kamal Martin - Thomas Rush OR Braelen Oliver
Antoine Winfield Jr. - Calvin Swenson

Ughh!

Calvin Swenson? I don't know much about him, but I doubt he can fill AWII's shoes. The guys on the line and at LB played pretty well when they were in so I feel we won't fall off too much there at all. Plus, we have those two 300lb+ Freshmen DLs, I wonder how their development has come along and whether or not they can compete for spots.

Only true homers like Mr. House can help me sort this out! What do you think GHers?

did I miss something with Dew-Treadway? I thought we had him for this past season and next season

Lots of threads on this already. But MDT has another year and Nubin is most likely the replacement for Winfield.

yup. like the other 2 have said. I would be shocked if Nubin isn't the starter opposite Howden

I just went off the depth chart for the Wisconsin game. Swenson was backing up Winfield. I know St. Juste has two more years remaining but didn't think MDT had any left.

Chris Williamson is another big piece to be replaced.

Benny Sapp plays safety correct?

my guess for replacing Williamsons snaps would be Justus Harris and Terrel Smith

and when in nickel and dime packages we will see more of Phillip Howard

Williamson is the mystery component I think. I’d like to Terrell Smith moves there with his size, but his tackling has been suspect in the past.

We have a number of DBs that have been around for a few years now, Harris, Smith, Thomas, Sapp, Swenson....I am sure there are others.

Hopefully someone is ready to step into that role.

I think the thing some people forget is that the coaches have been actively grooming guys to be ready to step in next year. The only slight surprise is needing to fill Winfield's spot but even that wasn't hard to see coming after the year he had. You listen to some people talk and it is like they think we are going to be turning to guys with no clue what they are doing.

Don’t forget about Rashad Cheney....the guy who decommitted from Georgia and Alabama.

He was an academic redshirt this year. He’ll supposedly be good to go next season.

This is the dude I have been dying to see! Good call.

Ummmm, the depth chart was inaccurate all year (and basically never changed).

I'm interested to see how Logan Richter develops in the interior D-line. He's got great size and was a good basketball player, too, which usually equates to good footwork.

Now why would you go out of your way to directly call out Veritas like that? That is so not nice

PJ did not seem worried when asked about it. He thinks we have some kids ready to step up. That makes me optimistic that some of these kids on defense will be really good.

For Williamson: You're likely going to see Durr slide inside quite a bit with T.Smith playing outside at corner. You might also see Sapp in there as the fifth DB sometimes. As far depth, we will see who gets the 4th/5th corner (J. Harris, Glaze, Howard).

For DT: You'll see a rotation of MDT, Teague, Schad, Carter and Cheney (I think we will see more Richter after Schad and MDT graduate, but who knows?).

LB: Oliver and MSM (you'll also see a lot of Aune, Willis,Gordon, Rush).

DE will be interesting after Otumweo and Mafe.

I also think we will see a few more unconventional sets on third downs.
