Eric Murray as he changes the entire defense. They put him on an island 90% of the time freeing up others, especially our Safeties, to focus elsewhere. That helps with the run and sets up BBC for a lot of what he does. W/O EM31 out there, everything changes, IMO.

I'm going to go with a long shot - Hank Ekpe. Gophers need to step up the pass rush. If Ekpe gives them a good rush from DE, that could set up a lot of other things for the Defense.

I think it's gonna be Thieran Cockran. The secondary will cover and TC will get to the QB double digit times this year

BBC and all the DB's will have an easier year if we can put some pressure on the QB and stop the run

the MVP if we are going to have a great year will come from the from 4 somewhere. so for the poll why not go with the most experience kid on the DL TC has to be a factor or someone on the line

I voted other, as I believe it will be Richardson. He will cause havoc in the middle and be the anchor of the defense. But then again I played defensive line and may be biased.
