Who is your Gopher MVP in the dominant win over Maryland?
He was dropping dimes all damn game. There was the one throw to Jackson that was a little behind, and that is about all I can remember for real misses (and it wasn't off by much). The back foot throw to Spencer in the back of the end zone for the second TD was poetry. I said to the guy next to me "I don't know how he just dropped that in there off his back foot." It was dead nuts on the money. When the receivers were open, Max nailed the throw. When the receivers weren't really open, Max still nailed the throw.
Wish we had him for another year - the Greek Gopher/Cole Kramer were not able to get him the ball in 2023.Spencer.... Sneaky good!
As Jackson establishes himself as a true weapon teams are going to be forced to devote more and more attention to him which leaves open the prospect for a #2 guy to excel and Spencer seems to be becoming that guy. I was actually surprised a little when I looked and saw he only had a handful of catches against USC and UCLA as it felt like he was more involved.Spencer.... Sneaky good!
I voted for Daniel Jackson. He was amazing yesterday (the 2nd of 2 Gopher games I will see this season considering the 9 hour drive). A vote for Max Brosmer is certainly warranted. He is really good and IMK the best QB we have had since....Marques Gray had a few good games, Mitch Leidner and Tanner Morgan played well enough for us to win...I'd still take Brosmer...so I'd have to look back at the rosters in the 80s and 90s to find a QB I like better. BUT...I kind of expected Max to be great because Max has been great. I would also like to provide a 'write-on candidate'...PJ Fleck. Great game plan, execution, and aggressiveness. LOVED the game yesterday! Go Gophers!Who is your Gopher MVP in the dominant win over Maryland?
