I’m a New Balance guy, especially if you have wider feet; if you sign up online for an account they also give you a discount on your first purchase.Perhaps it just a personal opinion. I'm going to buy myself some new sport shoes this winter. Who is the best for comfort, walking etc.? Hoka? Brooks? Stretchers? Etc.
Those are some meaty azz calves. Are u a giant? Are u jolly?

When our first child was born almost 9 years ago, I put a pair of these shoes and a fanny pack in our amazon cart to see how long it would take my wife to notice. She noticed right away and just told her it was part of my dad starter pack.Yeah right, Mike Redmond![]()
And you’ve been celibate since then? When our first child was born almost 9 years ago, I put a pair of these shoes and a fanny pack in our amazon cart to see how long it would take my wife to notice. She noticed right away and just told her it was part of my dad starter pack.
Hoka's I think wouldn't be the way to go - they're great for jogging, not so much I'd think for standing or walking. For the latter, you want more of a support shoe vs a high-impact cushioning shoe.
On the recommendation side, get yourself some insoles that are customized to fit your feet, but don't do that at "The Good Feet" stores. Their inserts (at least last time I checked) are hard plastic, a really bad idea. Go to a chiropractor near you and get some decent ones that are fit to your feet. Here's what I use: InMotion®+ Custom Orthotic
Joe Pohlad has entered the forumI should add, I work for the Twins part-time in the summer. I do a fair amount of standing at times (on concrete).
LOL! I've chatted with a few upper management people with the exception of Joe. Timing wasn't right.Joe Pohlad has entered the forum![]()

For golf I swore by FootJoys for over 25 years. I switched to Ecco a few seasons ago, not going back.Bont - cycling shoes
Ecco - dress shoes, golf shoes, Chelsea boots, etc
Crispi - hunting boots

Price might be a few bucks more for Ecco, but totally worth it in terms of comfort and they seem to last more than twice as long, especially staying waterproof.
I have these. Love them, but they admit that they don't have anything for what I'm doing.I wear Merrell hiking shoes and absolutely love them. For me they are easily the best shoes for my feet.
Brutal last year. Hopefully the baseball gods will be looking after the team this year. I do have fun as I work with great people. Even the upper management people treat us with respect and will chat with us from time to time.Hope you have fun, and we have a good season - I’m optimistic![]()
I didn't have a good experience with them a few years back. You're correct, they are or were, very hard plastic.Hoka's I think wouldn't be the way to go - they're great for jogging, not so much I'd think for standing or walking. For the latter, you want more of a support shoe vs a high-impact cushioning shoe.
