Who did Maturi want?

That's all pretty complex. Isn't it just more likely that Maturi sucks at PR? There shouldn't be any need for anyone to fall on their sword if expectations are properly managed.

+1. Even if the end result turns out OK, the PR execution was very poor, as it is for most things in the A.D.

Kill is no Pete Carroll, which is a compliment to Kill. Kill has integrity and truly cares about the kids. Carroll only cared about winning and would do anything for a "W". I always expected the University of Serial Cheaters to get nailed by the NCAA under Carroll's leadership. However, the way Carroll jumped ship and left USC hanging surprised even me.

I expect to see steady improvement with Minnesota, both on the field and in class.
