Who coaches these kids during the summer??

Everyone sees these kids play in the summer and are impressed. They come in to the fall and play like gang busters, then they seem to get Tubbyized(new word) and go to heck, and flop out like a fish out of water. Yr. after yr. Who if anyone coaches them in the summer league?

take those pulley league games with a grain of salt, it's glorified AAU ball the defense is nowhere near as intense

It has almost nothing to do with who's coaching them and everything to do with who their playing against and how those opponents are playing. Like bemidiji said, those games are fun but they're basically like the NBA all-star game level of play (no defense, just for fun...)
