Where does Hawkins end up (who tampered with him)?

I have no idea. What teams have big money, want to run/play up tempo and lack a PG?

Or is Hawk just marketing himself without assurance of a destination?
 

Agents put the name out their to see what they can get, pretty sure they can hire an NIL agent. So far it doesn't seem like a preset destination exists. Look at Payne, he wasn't poached and is still looking. It doesn't feel like the Wisconsin players were poached.

But they don’t sound like big NIL players,

So what school needs an assist machine that can make enough threes to keep teams honest?

Duke or UNC smell right.

You might notice Duke has no guards in the incoming feast of talent.

Put a pass first low turnover PG and you are done.

Hepburn was almost certainly tampered with, whether it ends up being Louisville and/or a package deal with Fidler. Not Storr or Essegian, though.

As for Hawkins, MSU wouldn't surprise me - they've been mentioned for the Hepburn/Fidler package, too.
 



Im staying in East/South. Memphis, Georgetown, Seton Hall, or Maryland.

He's not playing over Caleb Foster or Tyrese Proctor. Doubt it Duke. Or UNC for that matter.

hey hawk, i'm a bagman for Something U with $300K nil. Enter the portal so you and the school can talk.

repeat 11 more times with other players. if the bagman finds enough options, they'll get paid

the ones that take time, like payne, are shopping and being shopped

Looking like Chucky to Louisville, Fidler to MSU. MSU pretty set at PG with Fears & Holloman.

We should run ads saying we're a clean program...and literally in print calling Beard, Jones, A&M, etc., etc...SCUMBAGS.
 



No clue, thinking it could be USC, Arkansas, or Kentucky. We will see, but wow this is a blow.

He’s not good enough for a Duke or top 10 team. He had a ton of assists as he was our only ball handler, but he was a ball stopper, and that doesn’t fly at big time programs where he would be the worst prospect

Hawk is a really good player and I still hold out hope he stays. However, he is a defensive liability against bigger point guards due to his size. He also can't finish in the paint. I think he will find a good spot, but I'd be shocked if it is a blue blood stop of that level.
 

Suspect the deal was all but done before he entered the portal. He would not have given up what he had without assurance of a deal. Expect announcement of a commitment within days…
 


Clearly Hawkins had money on the table before he decided to transfer. Otherwise he would be going from a power five conference with a team that has a chance to be pretty good to the unknown. No one believes his decision was done in a vacuum. Examples like this will destroy CBB except for the blue bloods that poach proven players they had no interest in originally.
