Who are your FINAL 4

I'm interested to see who you guys have in your final 4? I listed both who I think should be in the final 4 and who I think the committee will choose. I'm hoping they do some flipping but I'm assuming they won't otherwise what is the point of them doing the rankings during the season? I don't care the Florida St has found ways to barely keep winning... these 4 teams are playing the best football right now in my opinion. I'm sure plenty will disagree though that's why I'm asking.

My final 4:
1. Oregon
2. Ohio St
3. Alabama
4. TCU

Who the committee will choose:
Alabama
Oregon
TCU
Florida St

1. Bama
2. Oregon
3. OSU
4.Florida State

3. and 4. are interchangeable of course. No way TCU or Baylor make it.

That gives the Rose Bowl the traditional Pac12/Big10 matchup and Bama/FSU in the Sugar.

This would give the selection committee a nice out on the TCU/Baylor controversy. But does suck because I think either of them could throttle FSU. Big 12 was stupid not to do a championship game. Maybe they will learn their lesson.

I don't think the Big 12 is allowed to have a championship game because they don't have 12 teams, which is ironic considering they are the Big 12.

My top 4:

1.Alabama
2.Oregon
3. Ohio St
4. TCU
 

I think Alabama, Oregon, and TCU are pretty much locks. It's up to the selection committee to choose between an FSU team that barely snuck by a good Georgia Tech team. Or OSU who walloped a good wisconsin team. FSU obviously has the record in their favor, but their wins may be even less impressive then OSU's.

I honestly wouldn't be surprised either way.

this one might be on the $. I think that TCU or Baylor fans need to get prepared to be pissed.

TCU and Baylors schedules just can't stack up to OSU.
Against "elite" teams (top 25). OSU 2-0 (@MSU, Wis), Baylor (TCU, KState), TCU 1-1 (loss @ Baylor, KState)
Against "upper" teams (borderline top 25). OSU 2-0 (Cincy, @MN), Baylor 1-0 (@OU), TCU 2-0 (MN, OU)
Against medium teams (good but not great....trap games). OSU 3-1 (Navy, loss to VT, Maryland, @Rutgers), Baylor 2-1 (@Texas, loss @WVU, Okie State), TCU 3-0 (@Texas, Okie State, @WVU)
Against low teams. OSU 4-0 (@PSU, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan), Baylor 2-0 (buffalo, @Texas Tech), TCU 1-0 (Texas Tech)
Against garbage teams. OSU 1-0 (Kent St), Baylor 4-0 (SMU, NW St, Iowa state, Kansas), TCU (Sa ford, SMU, Kansas, Iowa state)

One could easily argue that all of OSUs "low" teams could be moved up to middle. Indiana even beat Mizzou.
 

Best 4 teams in the country:
1. Oregon
2. Alabama
3. Ohio State
4. Michigan State

The 4 that deserve the CFP:
1. Oregon
2. Alabama
3. Florida State
4. Ohio State
 

Very tough, but it's hard to leave the defending national champion, undefeated, out of the four. I would, but I don't think the committee will. So it looks like either TCU or Ohio St. will be jobbed. My vote would be: Alabama, Oregon, Ohio State, TCU.
 


If you look at FSU's schedule, they had nothing but close games, overtime, etc.
I would have Oregon, OSU, Bama and TCU
 

It would truly be an embarrassment to the sport if FSU got left out. Funny, but an embarrassment.

Funny you say that, since Oregon plays like a Big 12 team.

I'll take TCU over Oregon, all day long. Gary Patterson >> Mark Helfrich with weeks to prepare. I really hope this game happens.

Would've had TCU at #4, but after that drubbing put on the Vadgers tonight, I gotta say tOSU.

I think you have pegged the best four teams. But I agree Florida state hasn't lost and will be selected. I think if Ohio state gets in they win this thing.
 

Hopefully the badger thrashing that osu put on wisconsin will be enough to get them in. Man I enjoyed watching that.

A couple of thoughts. First, as stated previously, Florida State will lose in the semis no matter who they play. If they play Alabama, they will get destroyed. Second, if TCU gets in, they are a threat to win it all. We had the chance to watch both TCU and Ohio State, I thought that TCU was the better team.

That's who I have. Order doesn't matter to me, you have to beat 2 of 3 to win it. Can't leave out Bama or FSU; OSU and Oregon have shown their A game; Baylor and TCU are victims of being in the worst conference.
