The storylines will be plenty on Saturday. Give me Max any day!!

Well, it worked out very very well for us Gopher fans.

Hopefully it eventually works out allright for AK. Not on Satudrday though.

Seriously?

Now if you were asking about AK and Drake, you might have a question.

The QB stats since halftime of the Michigan game show the kind of talent we have under center.
I watched B1G Today on BTN and again Max Brosmer gets a "Helmet Sticker" from Yogi Roth, who says he is "all in on Minnesota" and has been singing their praises since he called the game against USC. He also mentioned how great Greg Harbaugh has been as OC.

This will be a blowout. Max by a mile.

Sure, but I don't see the point of rubbing it in. We all know by this point in the season that Gopher fans are much happier after the transfer than they were before. The only thing I wish Max could do as well as Athan is run but I'd rather not see him risk injury.

I hope this thread doesn't come back to haunt us! This is bulletin board material for AK if he sees this .

So clicked on this tread thinking maybe it would be a real poll between a couple viable choices but the question posed is foolish. Would you rather have Brosmer of Athan as your starter?.....real tough choice there.....

The ONLY reason anyone would pick AK right now is because they were obsessed with the future and Brosmer is done after this year. Outside of that there is no comparison. Heck you could ask this question on a Rutgers board and you would probably have a blowout win for Brosmer there as well.

AK definitely has talent… the ironic thing is had he stayed here, watching Brosmer operate would have done AK a ton of good.

Crazy part is that he is on pace for more attempts this season but his stats are eerily similar to the ones he put up last year for us.

One area he has shown little to no growth in is completion percentage as he has been right around that 54% mark all 3 years he has been in college and that has come with some absolutely dreadful performances like the ones he had against Wisconsin and Washington this year.

He has some arm talent but I'm not sure he possesses the intangibles needed to be a successful QB at this level.

coming soon, the next poll question:

would you rather have Chocolate Cake or Fruitcake for dessert?

In other words, the critical differences are above the neck. I think Athan is a better athlete than Max but the advantages stop there.

AK couldn't run either.

Dear Lord, now you just gave me a flashback to the Illinois game last year. AK trying to run outside and getting tackled when all he had to do was to cut inside into a huge hole and get a first down to probably seal the game.

The Gophers run like crazy on Saturday and neither QB is a factor in the final outcome. Nice poll though.

I’m not rubbing it in at all. I was excited to see AK when Morgan got hurt a couple years ago and was excited for last season. He was really disappointing. I wish him the best and hope he succeeds at Rutgers, but from the limited sample size we’ve seen I think Brosmer is definitely a better QB.
