Brings up an interesting opportunity - Illinois passed on Brewster when they hired Zook. Brewster has done well at MS St and FSU and is an alumnus. Do they consider him for head coach?

No chance. Brewster will never be a head coach at the D-1 level again unless he were to secure a coordinator position and prove his mettle. I don't see him going back to being a head coach from a position coach again.
