Which 09 recruit are you most excited about?

Tough one...

Which 09 recruit are you most excited about?

For the short term, it's Hayo Carpenter. He should provide a play-making boost to the WR corps, give Decker more room to operate and give Weber more targets. A good vertical passing game should open up more space for the running game as well.

For the long term, I think it's Michael Carter. It's a position of need in the future and he looks like a player.

I think the person I am most excited for during the 2009 season is Hayo Carpenter. I think he will take a lot of pressure off of Decker and with another year of development for some of the younger WR, like Green, I think we will have a lot of options for Weber. Plus add in TE target Hageman and that is a good group to throw to.

In the future, I am most excited about seeing Michael Carter and Lipscomb. They are two good gets that can develop into some strong talent. I expect Lipscomb to redshirt and hope to see Carter out there as a Nickelback.

Yeah, I'd definitely have to say Hayo for next season and short term. Looks like he could be a very exciting guy out there.

Long term, I'm very intrigued by the quieter guys in our class, guys like Kerry Lewis, Brent Singleton, and Ken Watkins. They aren't as highly billed as the Carters, Alipates, and Hagemans, but I wouldn't be surprised to see one or two of them end up being a major impact guy out there.

I agree with the people above that Hayo in the short term, but Hageman has the tools to be a beast at the next level. And with a NFL TE coach leading the way, I'm sure he'll be a great asset.

I'm excited to see Lipscomb. I miss speed in the backfield!

I think Garin will be a better DE than WVS. He'll be a beast when he's an upper-classman.

I'm envisioning this chant after a long touchdown pass:

"HAAAYYYYYYYOOOO"
"HAAAYYYYAAAAAAAO"
Daylight come and me want to go home......

I don't have one.

It's a tie between Campion, Jacques, Michel, Olson, Garin, Searcy, and Hageman. Gregory-Mcghee and Rengel make the list too, if they end up putting a hand on the ground.
