Where is Goldy pre-game?

Our two grandkids, ages four and two, and their parents will accompany us to the game vs Rhode Island on Saturday. This will be the kids' first Gophers game!

The kids are excited to meet Goldy, and I'm trying to find his approximate whereabouts before the game. I've looked at the Gophersports website, and have found a pre-game protocol, but no mention of our beloved mascot.

If any of you folks could help me solve this mystery, then you'd make two toddlers very happy. Thanks very much in advance.

Safe bet would put him between the Stadium and Mariucci on the plaza area with the rest of the pregame festivities that they have. Though we never make it to that area until they are cleaning up but that is at least where I would start. I am sure others will be able to give a more exact answer.

He also is at the player walk on the east side of the stadium. Check game day notes for specific time but usually around 2 hours before start.

Goldy stops by the tailgate lots on his Goldy Segway. Usually at the c58 lots an hour or two before kick. If you are tailgating and keep an eye out you should find him. Once the game starts it’s not likely as he spends most the time on the field. If not tailgating in a lot the Gopher Garden in-between 3m and Huntington bank is probably your best shot.
