Where is Big Al

I haven't seen him posting for quite some time here. Anyone know why?

Last time there was a thread asking about him, I passed it along to him and said he got viruses from GH - which is why we switched a few years ago from Yuku to these boards. I want Big Al back too - convince him we're virus free...well, except from the Iowa fans, of course, just kidding!

Thanks. I always thought his posts were factual and included at least some insider-type info. Always enjoyable to visit with at Gopher football events as well. I hope he comes back too.

I'm not an expert, but I've heard that Flash based advertising can somehow distribute viruses. I do know that the Flash ads slow this website down enough that I've installed a Flash blocking plugin and now GopherHole runs faster and I don't have to worry about any Flash security risks. Maybe you could find an advertising program that uses Flash free ads.
