When will Gophers bowl be officially announced?

I do not see any Bowl Announcements scheduled on TV other than the current playoff and Big 6 show currently on. When and where do the other bowls get announced?
 

The Gopher twitter account tweeted that it would be sometime tonight.

I'm sure it will leak several hours before then. We might know around 3 o clock.
 

They're waiting for the Jets-Vikings game to be over so Sherels, Decker and Harvin can announce it'll be Minnesota-Florida in the Tax Slayer Bowl.

Read the Lincoln newspaper (posted 15 hours ago though but after B1G Title game) and they reportedHuskers in Music City or Foster Farms Bowl with Wisky and Gophers taking Holiday / Outbackspots.
 


I am afraid your concerns will be proven correct.

Music City would be interesting if that gets thrown in there. Takes away from sending Nebraska to Jacksonville again. Want it to happen, pretty sure it won't, based on Gopher luck.

Outback Bowl website says sometime between 6 and 7 pm Eastern time.

My sources say it's The Nook St. Paul Slush Bowl at O'Shaunnessy Stadium on Dec. 27.....Looks like Holy Cross or Union will be the opponent.
