Figure I'd try to get some banter going this a.m. as I woke up a little bit surly about lack of team coverage (see other post). What young player are you excited to see this season? For me it's Nathan Roy as he seemed to be a little more highly recruited than the Prior Lake kid Greg Johnson and he got a lot of run last year and comes in with valuable experience. I am also anxious to see if Koi gets on the field at safety, it sounds like he might be too talented to not be. Are there any young DB's or WR's that get some time this year? For transfers, besides the obvious in QB, I'm excited to see Howard on the DL and the WR's.

And the transfer DB, whois projected to start. Came from Bucknell I think but apparently has been quite impressive. Robinson?

Hard not to get excited about seeing Koi play.

Tyler Williams is my sleeper on offense. I know Burns is saying he's a year away, but I think he's gonna make some big plays this season.

Darius Taylor could be a 1,000 yard guy in year two.

Greg Johnson moves to center and fuĺl-time starter after playing a lot at guard last year as a true frosh.

Kerry Brown from Naples is pushing to start in his second year.

Redshirt freshman Philip Daniels from Cinci is pushing to start at RT.

Zaquan Bryan from Savannah is maybe CB 3 in his second year.

Pierce Walsh from Chicagoland is expected to be in TE rotation in his year two.

The four 2nd year WRs (Kenric Lanier, Nuke Jayes, TJ McWilliams, Tyler Williams) all have impressive resumes...would love to see them step up.

Koi Perich will be hard to keep off the field.

The 4 star OL freshman from Wisconsin, Nathan Roy, might show up in the two-deep.

The star frosh QB from Arkansas, Drake Lindsay, is likely QB2.

The true frosh RB Fame Ijeboi has made guys miss in camp.

The transfers could totally transform things.

The buzz on MaxBro from coaches and players is all so positive.

The Bucknell cb transfer, Ethan Robinson, seems to have instilled confidence as cb across from Walley.

Marcus Major, rb transfer from Oklahoma, has really been impressive per PJ.

Christian Driver, wr transfer from PSU has got some buzz. Year 3.

Jaxon Howard, de transfer from LSU, is expected to be in the rotation. Year two.

McMillan, db transfer from TCU, will be in the two deeps.

The Ohio RB transfer, Bangura, also has impressed.

The MSU rb transfer, Mangham, is also one they like.

The Georgia wr transfer, Williams, is a big time talent...just in year two.

Nice list. I would love to see Jaxon Howard become a reliable pass rusher.

For me it will be some of the TP players.
Obviously MB at QB is incredibly intriguing and will determine the season.
Tyler Williams and Christian Driver. Highly recruited out of HS, can PJ and staff ignite them.
Prior Lake kid Greg Johnson moving to center.
I am very interested in what Major and Bangura bring to the backfield.
I think the DL could be fun this year with Howard joining the seniors.
Koi Perich!

Very excited for this team although the schedule is very daunting compared to the ones of the past couple years.

koi and the drake. love the drake.
