I said Year 2, but I wouldn't be surprised if they did so this year. Having a competent PG is a huge deal, and we have two of them. Our shooters are going to get open shots, and if BJ Omot forces himself into a more prominent role due to solid play, we can surprise.

What remains to be seen is whether or not Medved (with adequate financial backing) will be able to hold together a few key pieces year over year, unlike the last guy. It's unlikely we will ever recruit at the elite level other programs do. With NIL and free agency, there really is no longer the concept of "building a program" or "establishing culture". I do have more faith in Medved's ability to outperform his talent level. But it's still a total crapshoot. I'll say year three but who knows.
