I need your help. I want to make a ncaa 2014 team builder team. What color is on this Gophers helmet. it is from 1992-1994 era.

I know about the marron and white logo. but i know it not the current Gold color.

It's metallic gold. Hated those helmets!

Thank you. Now can go ahead and make the team will be making. 1994 Gophers team, the last team to win in Madison.

And what a terrible team we had. I didn't care for the QB as he was in a bunch of my classes. I have no idea how they won in Madison.

1 more question. I know i can look it up and i have been. but can't seem to find any info on them. what type of offense and defense did we run that year. was it simlair to today or different.

We didn't run any defense in that era. The only time we had any defense was if Tyrone Carter made the play. (59-56 win over Purdue comes to mind)

Offense - it was wide open - lots of passing. I don't think it was technically the "spread" as I don't remember hearing that term back then. Maybe the run and shoot offense??? I guess I don't know the right term, but there was a ton of passing!

Thank. wiki didn't help me much, but you did.

The team won't be pefect by any means, meaning it won't be ratings as i stuck as ratings guys. So i will just be entering players names, HT, WT, coorect number. Also the team won't be playing at TCF bank stadium. I using Syracuse carrier dome as it home field. I may turn them outdoor if i feel i hate being in doors.

I think run and shoot is probably the closest I could think of too. Had lots of 4 WRs sets and lots of passing... although we did did the ball quite a bit too once Darkins emerged.

Academic prestige of "C"???????? Come on!

Like i said, i am not perfect in making teams. it just for fun. I will try and up the prestige later on.

Academic prestige was updated to a A- I also make changes to the rosters, i needed to replace a player with Aaron Osterman who i left out of the rosters by mistake.

Playing a game right now, 1994 Gophers vs Kansas State 2015 team. Seeing if i can beat some of this year teams. Almost return a kickoff for a TD. About to quit this game and sim the 2nd half. Twins game about to start.

I hate to say it, but C may have been closer back then... Not much emphasis on acedemics in athletics in the early '90's (at U of M or anywhere). I suppose compared to some of the other contemporary teams they were better, just not compared to anything under Coach Kill.

I think looking back a lot of these scores are probably generous:

Campus Lifestyle - I'd say then it was C at best. Lots of commuters back then (40% I seem to recall - I was one during that time), run down dorms, no nice places to live around campus besides Dinnaken (sp?).

Coach Prestige - probably higher than C- that year, but would drop quickly. He still was living off of NDSU/TCU reputation.

Championship Contender - could easily be F.

Athletc Facilities - could easily be F. God awful. They would have killed for today's inadequate facilities.

Fan Base - could easily be F. Nobody went to games. The Dome was almost empty.

Pro Factory - probably fair - they had a few players drafted in the years running up to this. They wouldn't have another one until 1996.

Program Tradition - those years were the low point. Nobody expected anything. Probably a D, and only that because they had won one national championship in the last 50 years prior.

Television exposure - F - they were almost never on TV back then, which was somewhat of a blessing.
