What offer did Edsall turn down?

From the start, Maturi and Bruininks were saying all the right things and acting like they were serious this time...I wonder if they really were. With the $550k we are paying every year for the Mason and Monson fiascos and the $800k we owe Brewster...I wonder if Maturi ever really made a big time offer to one of these guys.

Show me that Edsall, Hoke, Golden, Peterson, Patterson, Mullen or Whittingham turned down a 5 year $2.5 mil per contract offer with enough money for assistants and staff to really build a winner here...show me that we were really willing to pay the price to be a winner and build a winner.

I think these guys lied to us and lied about what was really on the table...wouldn't surprise me at all if the were dangling some incentive laden deal at these top guys and literally getting laughed out of the room.

That's why we were chasing a UFL, CFL and Wiscy OC late in the process....these effing a holes never stepped up...otherwise we would have our top flight coach.

He's not going to say anything about that imo. He won't say anything that takes away from the Kill hiring, that is for sure. Info. will slowly leak from various sources and we will have to believe it or not.
