What kind of team is the toughest matchup for the gophers?

MSU has been even more vexing for Tubby. The Gophers are 1-9 vs. Sparty in the last four seasons. Throw in Tubby's first year (2007-08) and it's 1-11.

Well then, SS, it is time we all pull together and send the Spartans back home with a loss for them to deal with.

I don't care about the past, this year we are tougher than Snots the Dog and will drool all over the Spartans and send them back to their rusted out motor home with their tales between their legs, fully dealt a knockout punch.

GO GOPHERS!!!

We need to have a solid 8 to 15 point lead heading down the stretch in the final 5 minutes. Anything less will be scary.

something smells in the barn

You think Michigan State limits turnovers? Really?

They have been turnover prone and careless at times, but i think once the big ten starts and Izo works his magic they will take better care of the ball. What about the rest I had stated? Or are you someone who picks at one thing instead of making any dialogue.

Izzo teams ALWAYS have turnover problems. His magic, if anything, is winning despite having teams that don't value the basketball. Or are you someone who ignores gaping flaws in their own argument?

Izzo's magic has more to do with rebounding, toughness, defense, and getting his team to peak at the tourney. I don't think when they won it in 2000 by mateen cleaves having a bad turnover ratio. They probably have averaged more turnovers than wisconsin, i'll give you that.

Ohio State will give the Gophs fits offensively and defensively with Craft at the point and long / athletic forwards with long arms. When Craft pressures Dre Hollins and their wings are playing the passing lanes, that could spell trouble for the Gophs in a tight game. I think they will split the season series, both winning on their home court.
