damn, i'm an idiot

my teammates beat a top ten team on national tv, tomorrow are going to beach in puerto rico and i'm sitting in my apt in minnesota? damn, i'm an idiot.

i better get my act together. damn, i'm an idiot.
 

probably is more incentive to get back and follow the rules. He knows now this team can contend for a big ten title and a good seed in the NCAA Tourney.
 

I'm sure he feels bad enough, no need to rub it in. You never know who reads these boards...

He'll be back and improve our already impressive-looking team. He probably won't do whatever he did again while he plays for Mr. Smith!

Cory is a smart young guy and a real good ballplayer! We need each other and he knows it. I really expect we'll see him soon! Hurry back Cory!
 



I'm sure he's very excited for his teammates and looking forward to competing again. No need to go out of your way to rip Devoe. He's going to be a very important piece to this team. He is our only real go-to player.
 

Devoe could very well be the key to the Gophers success this season as Al can't play that many minutes at PG every night. It is obvious Maverick is not ready and Blake does a decent job, but is much more valuable at the 2G. A rotation of Al, Blake and Devoe at the 1/2 could be very good. If Devoe can get his act together, this team has a chance to be very good.

With Devoe this team has enough of everything you need. Then it boils down to playing hard as a team every game and getting hot at tournament time. Look at Butler last year. We could do that.
 

What is Devoe thinking:

Maybe (he's thinking) Wow! What a Great W for my Teammates. I Can't Wait to Get Back on the Court!
 





The announcers made a good point that the more the Gophers win, the more leverage Tubby will have. Tubby does not have to be in a hurry to bring Devo back.
 

you guys are way off.

"I hope they lose so it will make Tubby look bad for suspending me... the guys will welcome me back and Tubby will be fired... then they can bring in a coach that will let me play my game and roll how I want to roll".


of course, i'm only 1/2 serious...

If Devoe was just passing the "dutchie", I doubt it would have been an issue.

However this may have been the issue and *not* passing (if you know what I mean)...

I honestly dont think this ever crossed his mind.

These guys are his teammates and closest friends, he wants them to succeed.

He is probably relieved/happy that they won and that his suspension so far hasn't hurt the team's results.

I bet he is anxious to get back on the floor and prove himself too- I can't wait!
 

As it turned out, we didn't need Devoe vs UNC. I hope we can say the same after a battle vs Huggins and WVA.
 

FWIW-rumor is devoe won't be coming back as soon as some expect...don't know anymore details besides that he hasn't been adhering to what is expected of him to do...i very much hope it all false but i tend to put some stock in what i hear from people that are friends of his

I honestly have no idea what you're talking about...I haven't said a single thing regarding Sullinger yet this year, either what he will or won't average (I didn't make a single comment about his averages in the other thread if you actually read anything I wrote).

In addition, I haven't been vulgar in any regard (check my posts); you have a few others to thank for that, but I at least try to keep it classy around here.

I am getting really confused about which rebounds count as a rebound. I never realized there were so many categories. You'd think it would be documented better.
