This is fun. But what if all OT or 1 score game results were flipped? tOSU would be only undefeated remaining.

 

Purdue would be 4-4 (Currently 5-3)
Nebraska 5-3 (3-5)
Minnesota would remain 5-3
Illinois would remain 7-1
Northwestern would be 3-5 (1-7)
Wisconsin 6-2 (4-4)
Iowa 5-3 (4-4)
 

tOSU 8-0
Michigan 7-1 (8-0)
Penn St. 5-3 (6-2)
Maryland 5-3 (6-2)
MSU 2-6 (3-5)
Rutgers 2-6 (4-4)
Indiana 3-5
 


It's not something that can be quantified with a statistic.

But, for whatever reason, when a game is on the line, some teams just seem to have a knack for making the right play at the right time.

in other words, some teams find a way to win. other teams don't find a way to win - or they find a way to lose.

I don't know if it's something that can be coached or taught. I have a feeling it's more of an innate quality - where you either have it or you don't.

and some teams seem to find it one season, and lose it the next season.

that is a big part of why sports are so much fun.

Updated today. Gophers would still be 6-3.
