... while we're working on other two page threads that discuss the validity of judging HC's on the basis of the results of one game.

He comes back next year, wins the PAC 10 and competes for a national championship.

is he trying to compare Brewsters resume with pete Carrolls?

Thanks Golddude i needed a good laugh today.

Further proof that reading comprehension skills are lacking.

One game ≠ a resume.

you still are comparing brew to Carrol. Big mistake. You sound like a huge homer when you do that.

I'm sure Goldmember needs no assistance here. However, I'd like Brew_recruit to explain what sounds like an implication that being a homer is a bad thing for a fan. Isn't that a pretty good definition of what a fan is?

Yeah, Why is Brew_recruit scared of being a homer? He must work in sports media.

Get use to it Goldmember; Brew-recruit's own personal mission is make sure everyone knows what their post actually means. :banghead:

I don't know, but if leads to termination, that's good on the SH recruiting...

I made no such comparison.

And FWIW I am very impressed by Pete Carrol's accomplished career. (Who wouldn't be?)

If I were a USC fan I would want him around for a long time. I'm not sure all those fans in Los Angeles would have as much patience. Not many would have thought a 5th place PacTen finnish would ever have been possible with the recruits he brought in. :)

Of course you didn't. But I wouldn't expect rational discussion with this guy.

If BC blows out USC, I'd wager old Pete peels off a few honeybees that were intended for recruits and treats himself to a night on the town with a lovely co-ed or three.

That was my thought PH. If Charlie Weis is to be believed he'll head out to Malibu and have a good old time with a knockout grad student.

what if the sky falls??? lets quit with these stupid "what if this happens"

golddude in his post just wanted to sound smart by saying Pete Carrol could loose his bowl game and nothing would happen, so brew should get the same benefit of the doubt. BUT of course he is not looking at the obvious differences in their resumes

I'm guessing his college girlfriend will break up with him and start going out with Brad Childress.

nothing imho, they only lost what 4-5 nfl players off last years defense? It is not like he was coaching the gophers and got blown out by half a hundred by lack luster big ten team(iowa)
