I can't sit by and watch this go on any longer without becoming a member and finally bring some meaningful conjecture to this.
First and foremost Tim Brewster deserves 1 if not 2 more seasons as the Head Coach of the Gophers. I like the players he brings in and I feel like the talent level is growing like we had all hoped when we heard that we were getting a all star recruiter as he was billed. That being said I strongly believe that the spread was a mistake and we have put it where it belongs, in the trash. I will always maintain the main problem with our offense is Adam Weber!!! He was great his Freshman year and made all the throws, since then it has been a gradual freefall in his overall play and I believe his confidence level overall.
I hate that I will be subject to watching his late decisions and mismanagement at the line of scrimage, but Brewster is a loyal guy and will give him the ball for his senior season. Until Weber is out once and for all I don't believe we have the right to vote yea or nay on Tim Brewster and his time at the Head of our little nation.
If I hear one more comment about Tommy Tuberville I will puke, might as well re-hire Mason
If I am subject to McCarney coaching here I will box up all my gopher atire and tell good will to make a pickup
If I could get everything on my wish list however it would be:
Tony Dungy - Instant Top 10 Program Credibility
Marquise Grey(sp?) - As the Starting QB. We haven't seen enough to say he can't be a QB because what I have seen I like, when he forced the ball on his throw in the Iowa game I believe it was because he doesn't get the chance to throw and wanted nothing more than to prove he can, thus a bad decision by a young kid trying to break into the starting lineup.
Seantrel Henderson - In Maroon and Gold, if Brewster can't do here what he promised by holding the top talent in the state I will have serious doubts about what he can do from then on, because I know one guy that wouldn't have ever lost him, Tony Dungy!
