Great pick at the position of most need.

We got serious and replaced the entire interior O-line. No more sh!tty running game or getting blown up in the middle.

The Rams and Lions disasters are a thing of the past.

Don't mind the pick. Houston got quite a bit to trade out of 25 though.

Huge talent level, played/practiced against the elite, proven OL versatility, team leader, position of need and pounds the chocolate out of DLs.

It might not be a sexy pick but Jackson is the epitome of an "A" grade for KAM. Harmon and Booker would've been an "A+" if they had fallen to us.

I do wonder what Kwesi might've turned down to move back to 35, though. HOU and LAR each received a pretty nice haul.

A bird in the hand???

Only knock is it felt like you could’ve moved back and gotten him. Position of need but maybe taken early. Hopefully this finishes the shoring up of the ol

Couldn't have. Texans would've taken him. It was now or never.
Hard to know for sure. There were also tackles on the board that were good fits as the whole Texans ol is a hot mess (imagine they go with someone like Ratledge and a tackle-(Ersery?). That said, if he’s one of their guys you take guys that are sure starters on a team with few holes rather than accumulate picks if you have the chance

I feel like the Vikings stuck to their guns and didn't panic or try to get cute.

I like the pick.

I do think the board did not fall the way the Vikings wanted, though.

I think they were thinking d'line, or one of the other guards, but they were all sniped. He was the last of the top interior lineman.

Kwesi on KFAN said he doesn't think they have that many open roster spots which weighed heavily on not feeling the need for additional picks. Wanted quality over quantity.

Vikings led the league in their RB being contacted at or behind the line of scrimmage. Impressive upgrade on the interior on both sides of the ball.

It was fine but with the trade opportunities clearly available in the next picks, I would have traded back and added selections. We only have 4 draft picks this year.

He is still gun shy after getting burned trading back in that first draft.
