I think the offense did well, but the offensive play calling was terrible again. Nebraska's secondary was terrible, their run defense is great. Why abandon what was working to run up the middle and passes into the flat? We were scoring when we passed the ball down the field. Doesn't make any sense to me.

The defense lost this game for them, not the offense. That being said, there is still lots of room to improve on offense, especially along the OL.

Gave a "B."

We'd have won today if all three phases graded out at B.

Unfortunately not the case.

Gave a C

Leidner had a nice game. The o-line is very subpar. The run game wasn't much of a factor for us in todays game. Would have been nice to control the clock a little bit with the way their offense was dominating us

Gave a C. Have to find a way to run better. What happened today is not our identity.

When the gophers attacked ML7 actually did his job well today.
Play selection reminded me of a guy beating his head against a wall.

Attacked the first drive. Scored.
Waited to attack again until the late second quarter.

Execution was a B.
Schematics were a D.
C

Mitch and the receivers did a great job - and we're beginning to work the tight ends into the passing game, but 65 yards running killed us. 300 passing and 150-200 running would have won. We couldn't run against Kent State - it's been a problem all year.

With exception of the Purdue game, you are spot on.
