I'd still be defending the fake punt call if we lost. It's a B for me because of the stupid penalties, that was one of the more poorly disciplined games I've seen under Fleck. I was pretty happy with the playcalling and apparent game prep, can you realistically give anything less than a B for a road win against a ranked conference opponent with a coach who's had your number???

I went with A but on the edge of B+/A-. I didn't like the fake punt given the situation or the defense playing so soft on the last drive but we got the W and we could have won a lot more with better execution on some missed tackles and bad throws.

Went with an A. The play I really disliked was going for it on our last touchdown. Really no reason for it and it gave Illinois life at the end when we could have been up 9.

I liked the fake punt call and if Crawford had any speed at all, it was an easy first down.

If Crawford had hesitated just another moment he would have made it easily. The defender really hustled his ass of to get him by a shoelace.

Although, it’s nice to know that there’s at least one 31 year old on the planet, slower than my 58 year old self😃

I'm loving the way the passing game has evolved. No longer one dimensional bully ball. Darius Taylor is probably loving not running the ball 30 X and getting beaten up every week. I was just thinking with a few breaks we could easily be 8-1. Oh well, I give the coaches a well deserved "A" with a gold star to boot.

You mean when we went for two after scoring a td to go up by 5? Isn’t it standard there to go for two to try to make it a 7 point lead? There was only five minutes left in the game.

Yes you make it 7. There is no point in making it 6 a TD still beats you with an extra point.

Yep. No idea what WA is talking about.

Gotta be an a. I thought the drive before the end of the first half was ridiculous, but other than that the fellas were ready to play in the game plan was solid.

A for beating a tough coach and team in their house. Illini needed a win after the Oregon beat down
