I have never been so satisfied after a win,the coaches get an A+! Tough, gritty win on national TV! Go Gophers!

Easiest grade of the season. Dominated a fringe ranked team start to finish. I can only think of two individual coaching decisions I quibbled with. First was a punt on fourth and short around midfield. Second was a third down run out of the wildcat formation. I withdrew my objection to the second one when the play worked and we ran for the first down (its more important to me that the coach calls a play that works rather than the one I want, plus, at least it wasnt a handout out of the shotgun into a pile behind the line of scrimmage).

Seems like the coaching on both sides cleaned up a lot of problems from previous weeks.

I proudly gave it an A.

With that said, I watched a couple of GBR podcasters and they are livid how overrated Ruhle is and that this team is not any better than his first year or Frost's best year. As both of them said (paraphrasing here), "Well, we won't have to debate whether or not Ruhle is going to Penn State because they sure won't have interest after that beatdown."

So, is Nebraska just not as good as their press clippings and therefore it is not an impressive win after all? Or, is Minnesota - as much as a work-in-progress as we have been the first six games - better than the critics want to acknowledge? Or, is this a case of two suspect teams and the home team won, so, "nothing to see here?" Not sure where to land.

Yet, with that said...GoGophers!

Easy A. Still don't like the occasional 3-man rush, giving up on drives, and missed tackles but overall that was a dominant win. If they played the full season at that level they'd be 10-2 and probably be in the playoff.
I don’t really mind the three man rush when we’re being super aggressive and blitzing on other plays… and even more so when we got pressure almost constantly..

There’s certainly times when a 3 man rush is a good call, but usually not in obvious passing downs and especially not when their offense is in a full pass protection set. Of course the better our DBs the more up front risks we can take.

A. Best game I’ve seen the Gophers play in a long time when accounting for quality of opponent.
