Nebraska's strength was passing D and its weakness was running D. So what do the Gopher coaches do? They go to an old school tough lead blocking running game and attack the weakness, and patiently stick with quick short play action passes against a good passing D. It worked like a charm on offense.

On defense...I don't even know what to say. Granted Raiola and the Nebby O Line are overrated, but the defense totally ate them up. It was brutal. The D was about as prepared as prepared can be. Kudos to the coaching staff and players.

Easy A. Still don't like the occasional 3-man rush, giving up on drives, and missed tackles but overall that was a dominant win. If they played the full season at that level they'd be 10-2 and probably be in the playoff.

A. We managed to control the line of scrimmage, more often than not, and that gave us the psychological edge we needed to flip that into a dominating performance and emotionally defeat the Nebraska offense.

C for first half offense maybe. Second half offense is an easy A. So that would be a B based on your formula which would bump up final grade as well. 😎
I know you're being funny, and I am smiling.

But imagine a defense sacking the opposing QB nine times and absolutely dominating the opponent, and with that advantage, the offense only manages 24 points.

Oh yeah, you don't have to imagine it.

A. Maybe it took the 1st half of the season for the lads to learn how to play together, and it all came together tonight. Now, prove it wasn’t a fluke. I want some pork.

A, which is particularly nice as we were surrounded by Nebbie fans who ended up having a pretty quiet night. It was fun.

Hard to understand why we are handing the ball off, when we demonstrated last week that we have no running game. And a 3-man rush? And not going for it on 4th and inches? Another lucky win.

I don't like PJ's proclivity to punt on 4th and short at midfield. That said, it wasn't a lucky win, it was a dominate win. The defense balled all game, didn't give up a touchdown and held Nebraska to a season low in running.

This was a dominate win…not luck.
