I don't have the same grading scale for all teams. This team wasn't one of Fleck's "good teams." The defense had its share of moments, including tonight, but the offense was well below average for most of the season. Given the overall quality of the team, I'd say they performed at a B level this season when it comes to wins achieved.

They won quite a few games that easily could have been losses. Ended up at a B, especially because I don’t think this was set up to be “our year”. My 4 year old was able to cheer along with me as we won a bowl game. Now my grading scale increases in difficulty for each player that announces they’re coming back. CFP or bust!

My floor/expectation under Fleck is 8 wins. We hit it, automatic B for me. This team showed tremendous grit in their conference wins, three of which (Rutgers, Purdue, Mich St) absolutely would have fallen apart into losses under previous coaching staffs. Rs frosh QB held it down. Should make some additional strides and showed confidence, poise, and ability playing at the. P5 level

Cal and NW were two losses that should've been victories. We played every game sloppy like it was our first game of the season outside of Nebraska and Wisconsin. We need to take some huge strides on the oline and WR development, and Harbaugh needs to figure out what the offensive gameplan is and/or Fleck needs to get out of his way if he's restricting anything. Collins was very... Unique, schematically, at times, but statistically we were adequate on defense.

I feel like there's a lot to be hopeful for next year. Looks like a good core of guys coming back. Fleck has absolutely raised the floor.

It’s a 7 win season, which is pretty good but isn’t anything special. It’s similar to the Mason years. I gave it a B. I don’t count bowl wins as the season. A bowl win is a bonus.

This poll needs the +/- because nearly all the grades will probably be either a B or C so 3 of the choices are likely to see very little action.

For me this would be a B-, winning conference record, beat Wisconsin, young first year starter at QB. Lots of areas for improvement and some non-competitive loses.

couldn't even win one game on the road besides the bowl was very concerning

Likely more a product of the schedule than anything to be too concerned about.

All five road opponents were bowl teams and we were underdogs in four of the five road games and significant underdogs in two of them. The three toughest overall games on the schedule were on the road and the lone P4 non-conference opponent was on the road.

Home games included non-bowl teams Rutgers, Michigan State, Purdue, Wisconsin, Northwestern State, and Buffalo. Nebraska was the lone team with a winning record we faced at home. Won all seven games at home.

As for a season grade, I'd go B- . Winning the Axe keeps it slightly above a C for me personally.

8 wins and an Axe victory is good for a B, just as it was last year. We had 7 exciting home wins where a very young team showed a resilience that this program isn’t particularly known for, and there was good development across the season for Lindsey. Would have been great to win one on the road but given what the team was I’m happy.
