Regardless of how the divisions are split, preserving certain rivalries in the scheduling process is the key. Brewster has gone on record saying UMN vs Iowa and UMN vs UWI have to be preserved and that UMN is willing to give up the Lil Brown Jug game on an annual basis. It should be interesting to see how it all plays out.
