What do you hate most about Iowa?

There pathetic fans who live in Minnesota that tell us over and over how great ioweeeeee is. Well if it is so great, live there. Oh wait, can't find a job. Don't want to live in hick-ville. Guess it's not so great after all.

Minnesotans have a BIG choice on teams to support up here. There's no comparision and we're pretty lucky ...our passion for sports is split amongst and between the NFL, MLB, NHL, NBA and all the Big Ten Sports. In addition we have all the local MIAC sports. Let's face it...if it was a Gophers-only show in this state..things would be different. Plus winning helps.

Really wish that there was something positive to say about their fans. When they're winning...they are everywhere and loud. When they are loosing...they are silent and can't be found. I'm sure that they do have some nice folks as fans...but the ones that come to the games here in Minneapolis are usually the drunk and obnoxious ones.

Was that a subtle dig at Lois again?

Obnoxious Iowa fans taking over Stub & Herb's with their stupid chants...

Prior the last Iowa game in Minneapolis the back room at Stub & Herb's was completely filled with Hawkeye fans chanting at full volume for two hours prior to game time. Obnoxious, over the top chanting just for the sake of hearing themselves.

My suggested remedies:
1. Arrive early and fill the seating before Iowan's can monopolize it.
2. Charge Iowa fans a $10. cover charge to enter. (this was done at the Warehouse Bar in Duluth in the 80's following Gopher / Bulldog hockey games.... "Gopher fans $2, Gopher cheerleaders $5".... and it was enforced !)
