Honestly, I didn't like them at first but they grew on me as the game wore on. I really like the Maroon stripe with "Ski-u-Mah" lettering. I like the "Brick by Brick on the back as well.

Still like the matte Maroon best.

I didn't like them when they were first announced but they grew on me watching the game today. I still like the Maroon matte helmets the best but am fine with the Gold helmets a few times a year.

I thought they looked great in the photos and was excited to see them.....but didn't care for them with today's uniforms. Looked WAY too busy. These helmets would look fantastic on the road with the white jerseys and maroon pants.

I read the thread headline and saw "if." I thought they were wearing them and there wasn't a question. Anyway, they looked fine.

I'm over 60, so I like the classic helmet better, but it's not a big issue one way or the other with me.

I doubt this will happen, but just for fun, I'd like to see what an all-gold combo would look like- gold helmet, jersey and pants- or maybe gold helmet and jersey and maroon pants. I don't like the white jerseys - should always be gold or maroon.

I think that all gold would have looked much better. The gold helmets with the maroon jerseys didn't look that great imo.

Did they use that combination when Wacker coached? Seems to me they did, but I could easily be wrong.
