Yup. You heard it here first.
Ohio state will not be in the orange. The big ten can’t fill all the bowls.
Likely Mn ends up in Vegas, phoenix, or NYC
In that order

I'm going to Vegas for the Vikes game. Maybe that could just be some advance scouting.

There is a non-consecutive repeat clause, so Minnesota won’t go to NYC. My best guess is Phoenix.

CBS Sports says OSU Orange. 247 says MN vs BG in Detroit. Both CBS and 247 have OSU vs Louisville in the Orange Bowl.

According to B1G website - bowl restrictions with B1G tie-ins

Quick Lane - avoid same team in consecutive seasons -
Guaranteed Rate (Phoenix) - feature at least 5 different teams over 6-year agreement (Wisconsin cannot attend this year) Gophers played there in 2021
Pinstripe - Gophers cannot attend in 2023
Las Vegas - at least two different teams in a 3-game period (Wisconsin cannot attend this year)
Music City - 5 different teams over 6-year period

as I read that, it's either Detroit, or the B1G negotiates to get MN in a different bowl.

There isn’t a draft
There is a negotiation
Draft of course not, but Vegas likely has three options based on their selection priority. If Vegas and Phoenix want the same team, I would imagine that Vegas would likely get the team that they want.

The quick lane bowl will not get a big ten team as all the big ten teams will be gone before the quick lane gets a team

If OSU goes orange Detroit is nearly a 100% lock

OSU goes to orange if:
Both SEC teams are in playoff
Or
Both SEC teams are rated behind OSU

So I guess I disagree with their prognostications (they may not be updated yet)
Both SEC teams might be behind OSU. Bama lost at home to a lower ranked team by more points. Georgia didn’t play anyone all year did they?

The Gophers only won 5 games and are getting a bowl game because of a technicality. I expect we get the worst possible game.
Same. Which is probably Vegas or maybe phoenix

ESPN chimes in:

Quick Lane Bowl
Ford Field (Detroit)
2 p.m., ESPN and the ESPN App

Bonagura: Minnesota vs. Miami (Ohio)
Schlabach: Syracuse vs. Bowling Green
Guaranteed Rate Bowl
Chase Field (Phoenix)
9 p.m., ESPN and the ESPN App

Bonagura: Northwestern vs. Kansas
Schlabach: Minnesota vs. Kansas

Go Gophers!!

Bleacher Report guy picks the Music City Bowl against Auburn.

I do think there’s a case to be made for OSU ahead of both Bama and Georgia since their only loss was to #1, but I agree with your prediction that the committee will rank Bama #5 so people can talk for weeks about how they got screwed out of #4. Because of that, I also agree with your bowl predictions. Detroit, which seemed like a lock until yesterday, is probably off the table. It’s now very likely Vegas or Phoenix, and I’m seeing a lot of Phoenix predictions. The “5 teams in 6 years” thing doesn’t prevent MN from going, so that’s my guess right now.

Both Bama and Georgia make the CFP. SEC rigging and cheating the system.

Florida St vs Ohio St in the Orange.

Pushes us down to Detroit
