Growing up as a kid I used to love the Vikes and like the Gophers. As I started going to more and more games I started to make them equal. For awhile I had season tickets to both but began to notice that the NFL experience was just too corporate. I also couldn't envision taking my kids to many NFL games as the number of drunks was starting to get outta control. I made the decision to keep the Gophers and ditch the Vikes and haven't looked back. I still like the Vikes but I don't live/die with them each week like I do for the Gophers. If it weren't for fantasy football my interest in the NFL would be much smaller than it is.
