Can someone tell me what the ugly black boxes are on the sides of the stadium between the county markers?
I saw they today riding on the campus connector, but you can see them on the webcam 2. I think they're speakers or lights or something, whatever they are they looked really ugly. They don't appear in the virtual tour video.
There are lights already installed under the overhang which I saw on last Friday night and were extremely bright, so I don't understand what these things are for. Unless we're bring the metrodome tradition of playing annoying looped audio of the same 2 plays, and poorly recorded marching band music over and over again outside the stadium before the game every week.
