I have to throw my $. 02 in on this. Totally agree that it was a dumb call. The beginning of the 3rd quarter was critical. Michigan had the momentum at the half & received the kickoff. The Gopher D forced them into a 3 & out, then they had a horrible punt. We started the drive in Michigan territory & drove into the red zone. Momentum had shifted in our favor. If we take those 3 points, cut into the lead, and hold them to another 3 & out after the ensuing kickoff, this would've been a completely different game. Instead, we do a horrible fake and the team & fans are deflated. Horrible horrible decision.
