Last night was one of the best all around games I have ever seen. Complete dominance on both ends. His block total is a fraction of the impact he has in the paint. I saw a clip where they showed 22 different times a player penetrated and immediately backed out or kicked out as soon as Wemby flashed in the paint.

And his rebounding and that 3 from the Curry spot. If he stays healthy, he'll enter GOAT conversations.

It almost felt like he was going to make Chet Holmgren cry.

I had to kind of chuckle last night when Tirico called him a "cheat code". He is, but he called him that after Wemby scored on a lob while being guarded by 6' 3" Alex Caruso with no help defense. I'd guess Randy Breuer at 65 years old could have scored in that scenario.

They guarded him alot with just little guys.

I don't get it.

Wemby can shoot over just about anyone in the league so they decided to front him with physical defenders like Caruso and Dort. I'm not sure why they didn't use a physical big like Hartenstein (or Kenrich Williams) other than they were afraid he'd get into foul trouble.

He's kind of like Shaq, not in style, but impact.

Wemby is the antidote to the constant switching offenses.

If they play them straight up, he puts you into a really tough spot because the big can't show, so you get PNR'd to death.

If you switch, you're in the hell you just described.

Perhaps the idea was trying to get in his head.

OKC has that, Refs can’t call all the fouls philosophy. In a series they maybe want to get that emotional Wemby like he showed with Naz Reid.
