I agree with Tubby - teams have figured out how to guard/play him.
 

Well it certainly would be good to see Mr. Westbrook come up big tonight. Not at a loss for words though. lol.

Well DUH!

The Gophers have one guy in the starting five that can be called an even average scorer for his position, and that's Mr. Westbrook. Big Ten coaches are pretty smart and have figured out that if Westbrook is shut down, the Gopher offense is usually toast. That's because no one else is keeping opponent defenses honest. Now if you're Stephen Curry you may overcome that, but Lawrence is not quite that talented, nor should we expect him to be.

And BTW, that argument also applies to Devoe Joseph if he's stuck in the starting lineup in place of Westbrook. The Gophers have to figure out how to get a second scorer in the game without costing them too much in defense and rebounding.
