say goodbye to Pac-10. I know our Big Ten has way more at stake with its name brand so hopefully with 10, 11, 12, 14, or 16 teams. We'll always be the Big Ten Conference.

Why we are the Big Ten:

1)It doesn't say all the teams are big. The bottom team in each division is not big. The other 10 teams get to be big for the year.

2)We never said that when we used the number "10", that we were talking about representation in base 10. With 12 teams, we will use base 12, and in base 12, 12 is represented as "10".

Seems obvious to me.

I guess they will just have to switch names with the Big 12 or will that be to confusing. The teams from the Big Ten moved to the Big 12 to form a conference with Nebraska, and the teams from the Big 12 moved to the Big Ten.

One point, they aren't using that logo anymore. Here's the new logo which will be updated to 12 when Colorado and Utah join.

And here's an article from CNNSI that details how their new commish is trying to improve the conference's brand:http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2010/writers/andy_staples/07/26/pac-10/index.html

I have to say, I can't believe some of the boneheaded stuff the last Pac-10 commish/staff were doing!
