Week 9 Other Games Thread

Cornhuskers with another awful turnover deep in their territory.

Nebraska's QB is having his first career start and it may be his last. He's awful, Nebraska is awful...

3 turnovers so far and several other almost picks and miscues by Huskers.

I feel like we played a different Nebraska team than everyone else.

On the bright side, we didn't play this Purdue team. We played a team that laid down nicely for us...

Per Tom Dienhart Tweet: The last time @BoilerFootball won a Big Ten home game? Nov. 24, 2012, 56-35 vs. @HoosierFootball.

Wow.....honestly surprised the only people in their stadium are not just the player's parents/family. Let's go Purdon't. Beat Nebraska!

Sarcastic thought: Was just thinking about how wisconsin operatives seem to be quite adept at strategically placing secret becky moles/operatives in certain football programs to weaken and attempt to bring them down from within. Joel Maturi at the U of M, Shawn Eichorst (hey even Bo Pelini called him a cunt in public) at Nebraska. Donna Shalala at Miami, etc.

word to the wise......don't hire anyone with former wisconsin ties into your athletic department.........they cannot be trusted......the call is coming from inside the house! ;)

What a fun game. Unathletic TE's making TD catches for Purdue. 28-16 Purdue...

To be fair Maturi really didn't have to 'Bring the Gophers down'. Nebraska deserves every bit of losing they get after firing Solich and Pelini.

Great Post!

Purdue crushed NE.
NE crushed MN.
What would happen if Purdue played MN.

Let's go back to the beginning of the season when both BTN analysts picked Nebraska to win the Big Ten West and ESPN also said it would be between Nebraska and Wisconsin. And most of us said WTF? New coach, lost their best receiver, best running back, and best defensive player, and weren't very good last year. Solich was the best coach they've had since Osborne.

Cue yakkity sax for the PU - NU highlights later. That latest INT that bounced off 3 guys is the icing. PU putting up almost 50 on Nebby. Whoda thunk it?

I'll just say it, does Mike Riley even make it to year 2???? Michigan State, Iowa, and at Rutgers. May not win another game. 3-9 at Nebraska?

I think he will, but by Nebraska standards he really shouldn't. Pelini took over after the worst coach at Nebraska since the early 60s, and won 9 games his first year. Pelini certainly didn't leave the cupboard bare for Riley.

How's the meltdown on Braska's site going?

Worth a click to see Aaron Taylor and Carter Blackburn as a leprechaun and Kool-aid pitcher on CBS SportsNetwork CSU call.

How about: Going into the game, Purdue ranked 122nd out of 128 in scoring offense and they hang 50 on Nebraska.

Our loss to the Huskers looks worse and worse. I assume that will be Nebraska's only conference win.

I don't know that we can make any assumptions about the Bi Ten this season. It's been sort of a strange year all around

But our win over Purdue looks better. There is nothing in that game that was going to make us look better or worse in my opinion.

There is zero chance the Oklahoma St.-Texas Tech game will be finished by 6pm for our game.

Good news is Illinois doesn't look as good as we thought.

Texas Tech and Oklahoma St trading jabs. Could be another unbeaten falling here...

38-35 Red Raiders halfway through 3rd quarter.
