I might have to start putting parlay bets on my football picks.

Making my first explanation of picks ever--so all four are probably wrong!

If the Gophers had played a complete game, without critical turnovers in the red zone TWICE, gifting Michigan 14 easy points, the Gophers would have exposed Michigan's hapless offense and won (handily, I believe). I'm rolling the dice this time: guessing + hoping that the Gophers play their first complete game of the season, on offense, defense AND SPECIAL TEAMS, giving us a win against a ranked USC team (which has a middling defense that can be exposed if we play an aggressive not tentative offensive game plan). We have enough talent; just got to stop making huge point-yielding mistakes. Corrective job #1: offensive center has got to quit making the "arm twitch," drive-killing false starts; repeating, self-inflicted wound that is stalling our offense.

Michigan is a paper tiger. Washington could well beat it. But I don't think it happens. Washington has a much better offense than Michigan. But Michigan's defense and STs will carry the day, Iowa style.

I hate Texas A&M, and like Missouri. I am agnostic about all things relating to Florida football, but Florida is a slight betting favorite (at least today).
