Pretty simple.....Purdue is downright bad and Wisconsin is taking advantage.

Terrible clock management at the end of the half there. Got 12 seconds remaining form the 36 yard line with a TO remaining. Instead of burning the timeout and getting two or three more plays.....Purdue tries to line up and then has no choice but to throw to the end zone (unsuccessfully).
