Stanford may perpetually be awful. The university doesn’t take many transfers in at all… so the portal is potentially a one way door for them unless they work / have worked out a deal to change admissions policy….

Stanford had quite a nice run 2010-2017. Harbaugh brought Luck in, then Shaw was able to ride that momentum for a while (C McC great as well).

Seem to be bottoming out now.

If Notre Dame ever decides to join the Big Ten, they'll require Stanford and that will be an easy yes. Until that happens, they'll have to make due in the ACC.
