Week 13 Other Games Thread

I've wondered the same. They get decent recruits but always end up sucking.
Coaching. They haven’t had a good head coach in a while. You’d think it’d be a pretty desirable job. They must have a bad administration. Poor AD.

I think it’s clear they’re talented enough to compete with Ohio St. They’re just crapping their pants right now.
I wouldn't say talented enough. They can't block the pass rush since the first drive and the speed of OSU on defense is just too much.

Yeah, Rourke picked apart the D on the first drive with no stunts/blitzes coming at him. It's been a totally different game since then.

So Ohio St plays a lot of big games against top teams every year and also has this year. I think the lack of big games has hurt Indiana today because they just have made way too many mistakes. Penalties, fumbles, missed blocks, special teams have been awful. Ohio St is really winning in every single aspect. Would be interesting to see a rematch in the playoffs, see if Indiana can put it together given a second chance.

Could the Hoosiers be playing themselves out of the CFP with a thorough ass kicking against the only ranked opponent they'll see this year?

Not with one loss. Miami and Ole Miss are in close games, both have two losses. Other teams will earn their second and third losses and drop further.

Cignetti coaching now like he thinks he just wants to keep it closer

They’re getting beat big time on both lines but the QB can’t hit open receivers, their punter gifted them a TD. It could easily be a one score game if they weren’t shooting themselves in the foot so much.

Maryland with their second td in the 2nd half within 6 of Iowa.

Rutgers still up on Illinois by 2 in the 3rd.

Miami has 1 loss but 2 losses in the ACC would be tough to overcome.

I'd be perfectly fine if I never had to look at or listen to that smug ass Urban ever again.
It’s funny he has time to be on TV. You would think he’d be too busy going to prisons to see his former players on visiting days.

I get it, but the Hoosiers will have an 0-1 record against top 30 teams in Sagarin. That's a weak resume. BYU, SMU and Colorado all might have a better SOS with one loss going into conference championship week.

agreed and don't think you can punish a team for losing a CC game versus a team that doesn't even make it.

There may be items broken in the houses of Hoosier fans today. Been a frustrating day all around.

Georgia leading 31-21 over UMass. Who had 21 points for UMASS on their bingo card?

The game is pretty much out of reach for IU they start calling penalties on OSU.

Indiana showing they are good not great which is what many suspected. They had an extremely favorable schedule this year and they have taken advantage of it. They should still get one of the playoff spots at 11-1 (assuming they don't blow it against Purdue) but they won't be one of the favorites to win it.

i'll be 0% surprised if they're out after this game whether deserving or not in terms of how "bad" their one loss is as compared to the rest of teams under comparison (and even compared to some 2 loss teams)

Indiana looks like they're just trying to get out of here with a 24 point loss. that should tell you all you need to know about where they should be ranked

Hard to believe that CB #1 is the best OSU can field ? I always assume they run 2-3 deep n this guy has what 3 PI’s today. He looks lost…
