Week 10 Other Games Thread

NEB may be not going bowling AGAIN! They need 1 more W

Rest of the season

at USC
WIS
at IOWA

Not going to be easy!

On the other hand UCLA need to win 3/4 to become bowl eligible

IOWA
at WASH
USC
FRESNO ST

They’ll L to Iowa, could win the last 3 👍

Looking at the B1G standings

NEVER thought we’d be in 5th place in B1G at WEEK 10 in THIS season! We need Badgers to WIN tonight so Iowa don’t jump us in the standings.

I'm happy for UCLA. They've had a brutal schedule and had to play an 8:00 AM game (their time) at Rutgers that they won anyway. I could tell during our game with them that they were better than people realized, especially on defense.

I have nothing against Nebraska. I feel for their long-suffering fans but I get irritated at the Web prognosticators predicting "A New Era!" when some big name coaches like Fickell or Rhule come into the league and are hailed as immediate difference makers. This is a tough league and, for the most part, it takes years to establish a consistent winner here. I know Cignetti has done great so far and I'm also happy for their long-suffering fans but we'll see if he can replicate this success over the next few years.

Loved the Bruins under Terry Donahue and they had some fun teams.

Foster seems like a good dude, do I hope he succeeds there and annoys SC😀

I'm interested in Indiana next year too. They are winning this year with the kids that all transferred after him. I think that will be hard to replicate over time. But we'll see. They are a hell of a story this year.

And UCLA won, but man do they need to figure out how to quit shooting themselves in the foot with unsportsmanlike penalties. It was really bad and almost cost them the game today. Nebraska's backup looked AK good and not much more.

Flag Fest to start the Whiskey - Pig game.
6 penalties inthe first half of the 1Q.

So conflicted watching this iowa/wisconsin game.

They both look sloppy so far, so that’s good.

I think I want wisconsin to win. Hang a loss on iowa, and we still get a chance to beat the skunks.

I’m cheering for the refs. So far so good. Lots of flags. Keep it up guys!

FS1 is running the first bowl game of the year

Iowa might run the table to 7-2

Loser of Wisconsin/Nebraska might not go to a bowl.

Losses in the top 25 so far:
#24 Illinois to unranked Minnesota
#3 Penn State to #4 Ohio State
#11 Iowa State to unranked Texas Tech
#17 Kansas State to Unranked Houston

Upset watch:
Unranked South Carolina leads #10 Texas A&M 17-6 mid way through the 2nd quarter
Unranked Kentucky leads #7 Tennessee 7-0 at the beginning of the 2nd quarter
#20 SMU leads #18 Pitt 14-3 at the beginning of the 2nd quarter

As you'll recall, they had similar problems against us with turnovers and penalties. I was glad to get out of there with a win and head to the break.

Iowa is run blocking reasonably well, and Wisconsin defense seems to be playing on their heels.

Wisconsin offense is ... dead I think.

Wisconsin looks bad. I don't care about Iowa. Wisconsin could possibly not win another game. They host Oregon after their bye.

I just turned to the IA/WI game to see the Ioweegians score two TDs to go up 28-3. What an ass whoopin. I figured it would be tough at Kinnick for the Fadgers, but this was not expected.
