Adam Weber was/is a great Gopher Ambassador. He endured so much crap and bad luck while he was here and did it with class and style. However, you should go back and read this board's thoughts on him while he was playing. Truth be told, Weber and Liedner were/are similar in that neither was/is great (MSU Halloween game aside) or terrible. Think average.
One of my biggest pet peeves is the way folks tend to look back on players as being better than they were. I may not give AW8 enough credit, but some look back at him like he was something special. It isn't quite as bad as the "Just imagine what we could do if DCT was still on this team" posts from a few years back, but reality still has been skewed a lot, IMO.
